Community

Our close-knit community is the glue to our genuine hospitality at Seasons Hotel Newman. We are proudly Aussie-owned and operated and make a conscious effort to support locals via our charity partners.

Our philosophy is to provide elevated service and to give back to the community. This is embedded through our Pacific Terrific Promise. We strive to create lasting friendships with our local community through actively pursuing a community & sustainability plan, strengthening our local footprint and providing terrific stays for guests.

Dementia Australia

When you stay at Seasons or dine at the Steakhouse, collection points are set up for Dementia Australia with every dollar donated matched by Pacific Hotels. Dementia Australia represents the more than 472,000 Aussies living with dementia and the 1.5+ million involved in the care of those with dementia.

Containers for Change (through local Newman Scout Group)

Containers for Change give people a reason to get up and recycle for the benefit of the environment and communities. The promise of another life for containers and 10c to potentially donate to important causes. They create jobs in metropolitan and regional areas, support local economies, and most importantly, empower people to be the change.

Seasons Hotel Newman is committed to donating our eligible containers to Newman Scout Group to assist with their activities.

Foodbank

Foodbank is Australia’s largest food relief organisation that feeds vulnerable and hungry Australians. Last year they sourced 87.9 million meals for their 2,600 charity partners and fed millions of Australians in need.

Specific to the Pilbara, Foodbank is a team of public health nutritionists, funded by BHP, who travel throughout the Pilbara region to deliver nutrition education and cooking programs to schools, youth centres, parent groups and organisations. These programs hope to educate and empower people to eat healthily and purchase cheap and healthy foods, in the hopes that they don’t need to access food relief from Foodbank.

Currently, they provide food to schools through their school breakfast program so that no student goes hungry at school.

We are happy to be Foodbank’s preferred accommodation when travelling throughout the Pilbara and support them with our facilities.
